The online format has its advantages, as it allows to attract live participants from various institutions and regions of Ukraine (Kamyanets-Podilsky; Mukacheve, Vinnytsia; Rivne; Lviv; Chernivtsi; Zaporizhia; Kyiv, Uman, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, etc.).

Dialogues revolved around the following issues: Water Framework Directive as the main document for water monitoring; status of water resources; types of state monitoring of water resources; a new procedure for water monitoring in Ukraine; comparative analysis of the monitoring format: how it was and how it is; European experience in water monitoring.
Colleagues from Vinnytsia National Technical University shared an interesting idea for operational diagnostic monitoring of aquatic ecosystems using radio beacons.
