Urban water services: practices of developed Europen countries

The regular session of the Module was devoted to the discussion of water services in European cities. The lecturer was emphasized in principle among Ukrainian and European settlements: in the first, the water intake is mostly organized from surface sources, in others – from underground. This fact has a significant impact on the preparation of water for consumption, energy and resource intensive technologies.
During the discussion of the topic, the issue of economical use of water, both at the domestic and industrial levels, was not overlooked. The lecturer presented interesting and informative visual materials. During the class, each participant could match his daily needs in the water with the average in Europe, which caused a lively discussion in the group of listeners.
